The Airport Operator Association have produced a report detailing research by Oxford Economics on the value and economic contribution of the aviation industry to the UK economy. The study finds that the sector is now provides £52bn to GDP, supports 960,000 jobs and generates £8.7bn in tax revenue for the Exchequer.
