Released in February 2023, mia research reveals positive sector recovery amidst industrial strikes and energy price hikes. The Meetings Industry Association's (mia) latest research has revealed that a third of  organisations within the sector started the year with more confirmed bookings for 2023 than they did in 2019.

In its latest survey of 126 event venues and suppliers, the association found that two-thirds (66%) of organisations have forecasted more revenue for the year ahead compared to 2022.
