BVEP Skills & Talent Working Group

The BVEP Skills & Talent Working Group was established in 2020 to

1. further professionalisation for those working in events;
2. strengthen the entry and pipeline of those working in events and improve progression and cross-fertilisation throughout the industry;
3. gather Insights and knowledge of those working in the industry e.g. Skills, SICs and SOCs; Brexit; COVID-19; Freelancing; HR and contracts; 0-hour, living wage; technology and automation;
4. co-ordinate the further development of diversity and inclusion policies and practices that promote equity in the events industry;
5. work with Partners and allied organisations, safeguard the wellbeing and performance of those working in the events industry.
