UKEVENTS, the umbrella organisation for the UK events industry, is pleased to announce key changes to its executive committee.
In the past 12 months, we've witnessed significant strides in defining our sector’s narrative. The events industry has experienced growth, yet challenges persist for the sector. Work on the eagerly awaited UK Events Report 2024 is underway, and the initial consensus is encouraging. However, it's crucial not to become complacent.

In the world of events, recognition and support are pivotal to fostering a thriving industry which delivers on government priorities in growing the visitor and wider economy. In the vibrant heart of the UK lies a cultural phenomenon that has enchanted the world for generations: our festival, music, and cultural events. These events have not only become integral to our national identity but have also fuelled our economy, attracted millions of visitors from around the world, and continue to provide countless jobs. However, the UK events industry faces continued challenges, and it is time for everyone to recognise the looming crisis and act collectively to preserve the spirit of our nation's creative heritage.
